Who Am I?
The best way to describe myself is as a curious person who questions everything. I love trying to figure out the “why” behind anything that catches my attention. Perhaps that’s why I was so drawn to marketing when I got my first taste of it at a job that had nothing to do with search engine optimization (SEO). I always thought that I would end up trading stocks on the floor of the NYSE, but instead I was the person behind the scenes dealing with mountains of financial paperwork.
In an effort to get more clients for our firm, I started playing with our website in hopes of getting people to notice our presence online. As I learned more about Google Analytics, I started to get more curious about SEO. Before I knew it, I wanted to work on our website everyday! But that wasn’t my job, so I had to make a conscious decision to rethink my career path. I decided to quit my job, move back home to Texas (I worked in St. Louis), and learn SEO. Countless of courses, books, and videos later, I have expanded my love for marketing to include pay-per-click and Growth Hacking.
I love what I do and I hope I can help you through my blog. If there’s anything you’d like to learn, please feel free to let me know and I will touch base on it.
Thank you for stopping by and happy learning!
